I downloaded music from my laptop onto my phone with a usb cable and I dont know how to set my music as a ringtoneHelp with rant from sprint?
1. take the mp3 and rename the extension .avi (same encoding without the video)
2. get the free 3g2 converter pazera and convert your avi to 3g2
3. load it to your sd card, you need to put the 3g2 file in the DCIM folder
under the memory card folder 'dcim' there is another folder '100ssmed' this is where the file goes. then under the ringer selection goto 'my videos' folder... it should be there....
Videos over 512k cannot be loaded as ringers
4. ringtones can be selected from uploaded videos
