Ryanair Rant?

How much extra would it cost to allocate the bloody seats? Watching a family with 3 kids trying to get seated close by eachother is a joke. Dont get me started on the fn priority boarding, Every one is buying them making no one a priority.Ryanair Rant?
I loathe Ryan Air...i flew back from Alicante with them and was sat 3 rows back from my 9 year old, the service was woeful, sorry off my soapbox now!Ryanair Rant?
I flew to Rome with them this year and thought they were the best airline I'd ever flown with (try BA...atrocious) No frills, on time, no fuss. Just get on, fly then get off, marvellous
I'm sorry, but unless you are young, fit, travelling on your own with hand luggage only, it is really not worth even considering Ryanair, if you are looking for an enjoyable flying experience.

In 2006 they were voted the world's worst airline in a poll on the Trip adviser website, and in the same year they also were the most complained about airline in the EU.

To even mention them in the same breath as Easyjet, is an insult to the latter, with whom I have been fortunate enough to have many successful flights.

To split families, so that parents are distanced from their children, is unforgiveable but until people start voting with their feet and stop accepting this treatment, nothing will change.

I have just returned from Malaga on an Easyjet flight and, in both directions, passengers with children, disabled and those needing assistance were all boarded first, so that not only were they able to choose their seats but were also seated and out of the way before the rest were allowed to board. This exercise operated easily and efficiently and the result was that the plane was actually loaded far more quickly than would otherwise have been the case, had it been a free for all.

We learn from our mistakes, however, and I rather doubt you will be using Ryanair again, in a hurry. I know that in the main their fares are lower, but value for money must be considered also, especially when travelling as a family.

For a selection of passenger reviews for Ryanair during this year have a look at the following:-

Better luck next time.
I once had a bad experience with Ryanair. I do not chose them now - ever. That's the only way to treat them!

Have used EasyJet ever since inception and you get what you pay for. Lowish prices and basic service. This is acceptable.

BA etc. have finally been shamed into cutting their grossly overhead inflated prices and are now not much more than Ryanair under normal circumstances.

You need to play the field according to what you need. A family with small kids will want to sit together (hopefully not next to me!) so chose an airline that allocates seats.

Timings are important to us. We don't want to arrive/depart in the middle of the night!

Not using Heathrow is a main priority for example! We prefer to fly from B'ham (local to us) to Frankfurt and then on if going Eastwards.
Its something stupid like 拢10 each on Thomson flights, its a idiotic idea. Seats should be allocated when you check in, that way you get to sit with who you are flying with!

Its another money making scam, paying 拢20 just to sit next to each other rather than running the risk!
you get what you pay for. used to fly with them but happy to pay more with a better airline than fly cattle air. Not trying to be snotty but I fly a lot and am based in dublin but I refuse to fly them at the end of the day they land you miles from where your supposed to be so you pay extra to get to your final destination. NEVER GOING TO FLY WITH THAT SHOWER AGAIN. and that is my advice, just say NO
Any extra would be against the ';low cost business model'; used by Ryanair. They promised low cost flying but now they add on every conceivable extra and the total fares are often higher than they used to be with the major airlines such as BA.
Hi Gobbledeegooke, thought you disappeared off the face of the earth! Lol. I used travel to Ireland with Ryanair every 2 weeks and it was a complete nightmare! I always ended up sat next to someone else's children and having to keep my eye on them for their parents as they were sat at complete opposite sides of the plane. Not only is the service the poorest ive ever seen with an airline the flights are not enjoyable! I think the pilots are p*ssed when they fly. Im not usually travel sick but for at least 6 months of traveling to and from Ireland i was sick on every flight. And people think Easyjet are bad!
