I feel bad for him and Mel Gibson. When you are in a stressful situation, especially if drugs or alcohol are involved, sometimes you do things you wouldn't otherwise do. I really doubt Mel Gibson goes home and thinks about how much he hates jews and I really doubt Michael Richards goes home and thinks about how much he hates black people.
I agree with Johanex. That's like some one working at Mcdonalds getting upset and spewing racial slurs at a customer because they are upset with their order. That employer would get fired for any disagreement with the customer, and being an entertainer looking for an audience is no different.
